Jewel in the crown diamond watch !

reluctant sale, I have here a diamond watch called the jewel in the crown. it has 91 diamonds around the face and straps and one in the winder. The face is mother of pearl and it has swiss workings inside. the metal is stainless steel. recently took this to the northern diamond in aberdeen for evaluation for my insurance he confirmed that there were indeed 91 diamonds totaling 1.8 karats. the diamonds on their own are worth 500. He told me if i wanted to buy the watch new i would be 1200-1500 pounds. When i inherited this piece it was not working and because of its value no one would open it, it was sent away to a watch specialst for a new battery and is now keeping time and working fine. it comes with links to make it bigger, the origonal certificate and guarentee and the tag which reads 2025, it also has the origonal wooden display box. My grandmother was given this as a gift from my granda about 10 years ago and she never wore it. I wont wear it as im too scared to loose it.
